Willem is Global Director Supply Chain for Save the Children International since 2022. Before joining Save the Children, he worked in the United Nations where he led a supply chain service to support global peacekeeping operations in Italy.

He is a seasoned international supply chain leader with 17 years of private sector experience in global, regional, and local supply chain roles. Willem was based in South Africa, Singapore, the UK and his home country, the Netherlands.

He holds a Degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management.
