Segolene de Beco has worked in the Humanitarian Aid Sector for the last 25 years across the world (Balkans, DRC, Ivory Coast, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Haiti) and for the past 8 years in the Horn of Africa (Ethiopia & Kenya). She has worked for NGOs, the ICRC and joined DG ECHO in 2006 in Afghanistan. She is currently the Head of the Regional Office for DG ECHO covering East, Southern Africa and the Great Lakes.
