Marianne Kajokaya is the Country Director of Women for Women International (WfWI) in South Sudan. She is an expert in gender equality and women’s rights, with over 18 years of experience in gender and development, women’s empowerment, and the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda.
Her professional development includes specialized training in conflict analysis, gender mainstreaming, gender in emergencies, child protection, advocacy, and program facilitation. She is recognized for her humility, adaptability, and dedication. As Country Director, she leads the overall WfWI’s program in South Sudan, including directing the development of tools, resources and practices to better equip program participants to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
