Deputy Executive Director/ Policy Advocacy and Partnerships Coordinator – Community Integrated Development Initiatives (CIDI) | Climate Reality Leader| Advocate for Inclusive -Sustainable Development Initiatives I Representative Uganda, CSOs Sanitation and Water for All. Hellen has over 13 years’ experience as a development practitioner with a strong background in Gender Economics and Policy Analysis. She is well grounded in governance and policy analysis and practice in WASH, Agriculture, livelihoods and health promotion sectors in both crisis and stable environments. Hellen is passionate about inclusive and Sustainable Development initiatives including making Cities work for everyone including the urban poor. She is a strong advocate for locally led initiatives, good governance for WASH and food systems and enhancing capabilities for women and children. Hellen Holds a Master of Gender Analysis in Economics from Makerere University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi.
Hellen leads on the WASH-Nutrition Nexus advocacy at the National and Global level under the R2G Programme and has been a strong advocate for improved for safely managed water access and the costs of inaction to the Ugandan economy.
