Bedan Mwathi is a seasoned development practitioner currently serving as the Innovation Programme Lead at the UN World Food Programme Eastern and Southern Africa Regional office. With almost a decade of experience working across Africa and the Pacific—including Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Senegal, and Fiji—he brings deep expertise in program innovation, partnership development, and community-led solutions. He holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi and is completing an MSc in International Development at SOAS University of London.
