I am currently the UNHCR Sudan Assistant Representative (Programme), which means I head operations and programme delivery. I bring with me 23 years of experience with UNHCR, having previously served as Head of Sub Office in Melkadida, Ethiopia, and worked in a number of emergencies, including in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have first-hand experience in mobilizing multifunctional teams towards institutionalizing localization, in-depth knowledge and capacity to engage effectively with a wide range of partners, including Refugee-Led Organisations.
